Geek vagyok vagy nem vagyok geek?
2010. február 6.Én aránylag geeknek hittem magamat mindig; emlékszem, sok évvel ezelőtt elég magas pontszámot értem el a hackerteszt valamelyik régi változatán, de úgy látszik, technológiafüggő mégse vagyok. Legalábbis a Gizmodo tesztjén gyengén szerepelek.

Yea.
2. Do you sometimes bring your laptop when you sit on the toilet?
Nay – got no laptop, anyway.

Yea.
4. Do you make a nervous habit out of refreshing your inbox over and over, just in case someone emailed you in the last 45 seconds?
No, the mailer is set to check it every 5 minutes, but sometimes I don’t peek on it for hours.
5. Can you not remember the last time you didn’t check online reviews before eating at a new restaurant?
Not applicable, last time I ate in a restaurant some three years ago and there was no way to get online reviews about it. In Hungary there’s no online reviews about restaurants and you got no net while on the way to view it.
6. Do you freak out if you’re in a car and there’s no GPS?
Not at all. I never sat in a car with a GPS yet.
7. Does the verb “tweet” come up regularly in your real-life conversations?
Nay.
8. Have you ever changed vacation plans based on wi-fi availability?
NA. When I had a vacation last time I was a child and wifi wasn’t invented yet.
9. Are there more than two portable electronic devices within reach right now?
Yes. (Phones do count, I suppose.)
10. If your house were on fire, would you run in to rescue your laptop?
Nay – refer to number 2.
11. Are you closer with some online-only friends than people you actually see in real life?
Nay.
12. Are you pretty sure you’d have killed yourself if you lived in the days before Internet?
No. I lived in those days and survived.
13. Do you buy things online that you could easily drive across town to get in person?
No. One of the hardest things is to reach there in person.
14. Do “electronics” have their own category in your monthly budget?
Not even in the yearly one.

None, as I can remember.

Yes… or whatever, I do answer questions, but I’m never bored. Does that count?

CHURCH???

None.

None.

Yea, sure, I read the book.

Never.

I don’t. Got an account but didn’t use it for ages.

Not.

No… especially because I’ve got no idea what’s that.

It isn’t. Still not twitting.

I don’t.

No. Never been to a coffeeshop and wouldn’t use any gadget there.

Yea, in a certain sense. I look at a bigger screen, turn it off and look at a Palm.

Neither.

Never.

No (there are four).

Yea. Both of us have a computer and a phone, and there’s the TV set, the Palm…

Last time I was in a movie theater, phones had a cable and a turnable dial.
